What to Expect:

Your hair will be shampooed on-site; there is no need to come with shampooed hair. If the hair is unmanageable, there will be an additional fee. I should be able to brush or comb through the hair before shampooing. The stylist provides the hair for all braiding services. Please be sure to note the hair color you prefer when booking.

Booking:

When booking, please read the description carefully for the service you are interested in. The times for each service are approximate and based on an average. The duration may vary due to factors such as detangling, hair density (thickness), hair length, and other considerations.

Kids:

Kids are preferred to be 5 years and older, but younger children may be accepted. For ages 5 through 12, please book under “IHU Babies.” Crying is not an issue. It is suggested that kids be left at the salon, and parents return later.

Deposits & Card on File:

Deposits are required from first-time clients and clients who have previously no-showed (terms discussed below). A card is required to be on file; in the event of a no-show or cancellation outside of the cancellation window, the card on file will be charged. You may also use the card on file to pay for your services upon service completion. A card authorization form must be signed.

Cancellations & No-Shows:

We ask that you cancel your appointment at least 6 hours in advance. We understand that emergencies happen, but please still extend the courtesy of reaching out. Appointments canceled after the allocated time frame will forfeit the deposit (where applicable) and/or be charged a cancellation fee of 30%. The first no-show will be charged a 60% fee of the service ticket. After one no-show, you will be required to pay the full service ticket upon the next booking and for future bookings. If the stylist has to cancel (not reschedule) outside of the same window, 20% will be deducted from your service ticket on your next visit.

Tardiness:

There is a 10-minute grace period. After 15 minutes, a $15 fee will be added to the service ticket. If the stylist begins your service 15 minutes later than your booked time, $15 will be deducted from your service ticket.

Guests:

Please limit additional guests to ensure the space is comfortable for all.

Payment:

Payment is due upon completion of service(s), no exceptions! Accepted forms of payment include cash, debit, credit card, Zelle, Cash App, Apple Pay, Chime, and Tap to Pay.
